800 Miles Running This Year & Counting
I passed the 800-mile mark this morning on my way to my goal of running 1000 miles in 2016. This has been a big year in the goal department. On January 1st of this year, I set my mind to quit drinking for a year, run the Denver Colfax Marathon, San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon, Pikes Peak Marathon, and the Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim, all while racking up a total of 1000 miles of running.

Here we are ten months in and I’ve finished the marathons, and am now 4 weeks away from completing my final running goal of the year: the Grand Canyon. That’ll be 42 miles of ultrarunning adventure in honor of my 42nd birthday this year. I cannot wait! Stay tuned…
